Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a condition in which cells similar to those in the endometrium, grow outside of uterus. Most often this is on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and tissue around the uterus and ovaries; however, in rare cases it may also occur in other parts of the body. The main symptoms are pelvic pain, pain during menstruation.

Symptoms

Common signs and symptoms of endometriosis include:

• Painful periods (dysmenorrhea)
• Pain during or after sex
• Pain with bowel movements or urination. 
• Excessive bleeding
• Other signs and symptoms. You may experience fatigue, diarrhea, constipation, bloating or nausea, especially during menstrual periods. Sometimes Infertility is seen due to endometriosis.
